Carrying an unyielding desire to sing and a profound love for music - while wrestling with shyness - can feel incredibly challenging.

As an introverted teenager, I know firsthand the longing for singing lessons - and the vulnerability that comes with stepping into that space.

​

When those lessons finally became a reality at 16, they turned out to be more than just "singing lessons." They gave me something much deeper: a new sense of confidence, self-trust, and a real connection with my voice.

​

I wasn’t born with a “God-given talent” or an “amazing voice.”

But through dedication, a love for singing, and my singing teacher’s unwavering patience, I began to grow. 

​

I so desperately wanted to be good at singing that I followed my teacher’s guidance and trained classically.

​

Yet deep down, I knew that wasn’t my true path.

 

I longed to sing like the artists who inspired me: Mariah, Whitney, and others whose emotion, agility, and power captivated me.

​

It took me over 25 years to give myself permission to explore contemporary genres like musical theatre and pop.

 

Only then did I discover the joy and freedom of singing in a way that felt true to me.

​​

That experience taught me there isn't just one "right" way to sing.

​

It sparked a lifelong commitment to learning. I sought mentorship from leading vocal coaches who specialise in diverse genres, always looking for ways to better support the singers I work with.

​

As a NeuroVocal Method Certified Coach, I've deepened my understanding of how neuroscience can enhance the way we learn to sing, enriching the way I serve every singer I work with.

​

For me, this isn't about following one method or expecting every singer to fit the same mould. It's about bringing together everything I've learned over the years to create a personalised approach that supports each singer's voice, goals and journey.​

I was born in Portugal and have lived in Austria, Russia, Ireland, and the UK. These diverse cultures and languages have shaped my perspective and teaching philosophy, giving me a multifaceted approach to working with singers from all walks of life.

I offer singing lessons in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, available both in person in Carcavelos, Portugal, and online worldwide.
